The Worcester, MA and Manchester, NH campuses offer accelerated programs designed exclusively for transfer students. The Manchester, NH campus is a satellite of the Worcester, MA campus and shares full-accredited status through the Worcester program. Students attend classes in Manchester, while the instructors and other students are based in Worcester. Sophisticated technology and interactive videoconferencing are utilized to deliver the core courses and some electives to the Manchester campus. Some electives, all labs, and some didactic courses are taught on-site by Manchester-based faculty and qualified adjunct faculty, similar to the Worcester campus.

Other clarifying information: MCPHS gives priority to applicants who have completed the majority of the prerequisites at the time of application review. All math and science courses must have been completed within the last ten years, and all courses must have been completed with a minimum grade of C (not C–) to satisfy the requirements. All coursework must be completed at a regionally accredited institution. Preference is given to applicants who complete the prerequisites at a 4-year institution. All prerequisite coursework must be completed prior to matriculation at MCPHS.

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences provides a unique academic environment to guide and support students toward successful, sustainable careers and leadership in health care. As a private independent institution with a long and distinguished history of specializing in health sciences education, the College offers traditional and non-traditional programs that embody teaching excellence, active scholarship and research, professional service, and community outreach. For students who aspire to become practicing pharmacists and have completed their pre-professional coursework at an accredited college or university, this year-round, full-time, 34-month program (2 years of classroom instruction, 10 months of advanced rotations) provides an intensive professional course of study leading to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences School of Pharmacy-Worcester/Manchester is one of only a handful of institutions in the country that offers this type of accelerated PharmD program. The program educates students to become critical thinkers and responsible health care professionals. Graduates are eligible to sit for board examinations and become licensed pharmacists. Some states require accumulation of intern hours as well.
